Aventon Aventure.2 Head Tube Mount - Setup Guide
You've got your mount - let's get it installed!

What’s in the box

  • 1 Head Tube Mount (custom-fit for Aventon Aventure.2)
  • 1 Front Module Light or Alarm
  • Installation Hardware:
    • 4 - M5 x 8mm Screws
    • 4 - M4 x 8mm Screws
  • Tools you'll need:
    • H3 hex key (for M5 screws)
    • H2.5 hex key (for M4 screws)

Installation Steps

  1. Inventory Quickly go through the list above and make sure you have all the included items and hardware.
  2. Add Accessory With either the Light Module or the Alarm Module, you will have to attach or mount you accessory to the front piece.
    1. Light Module - The light module is super simple.  Just remove the light from the packaging it came in from Amazon, Slide it into the Light Module till it stops, then push the included wedge behind it.  Thats it, it's ready to be attached to the base Module. Using a H2.5 hex key install the 4 M4 screws and maybe a dot of Blue threadlock if you wont be switching out modules often and tighten them up just enough to be snug.
    2. Alarm Module - This module is just a little bit trickier because of the zipties.  The alarm should come with zipties to mount it.  If not any 4 - 6 inch ziptie should work fine.  Just get the alarm prepped with the battery and test it out to make sure the remote is working.  Once you have a good unserstanding of the alarm and its features, run the zipties through the back of the module and then through the mounting points in the Alarm as you move it down into the module just guide the zipties through the alarm points and back into the module to create the loop and zip it up.  Done, it's ready to be attached to the base Module.  Using a H2.5 hex key install the 4 M4 screws and maybe a dot of Blue threadlock if you wont be switching out modules often and tighten them up just enough to be snug.
  3. Get the Bike Ready Using a H3 hex key remove the 4 M5 screws from the bikes head tube mounting position. (where the front rack is designed to go.)
  4. Position the Module Position the Base Module over the now available holes.
  5. Secure Everything Now re-install the 4 screws we removed in step 3, making sure to not pinch any cables or wires.Take your time and make sure to get this right.  Also, a good practice is to not tighten any of the screws until you have them all started.
  6. Test & Adjust That should be it.  The light can be charged in place no need to remove.  It can also be charged via the USB port on the back of the Bikes screen.

ProTip: The Alarm does have sensivity settings.  Its workth the time to fiddle with that untill you like how it reacts to bumps and movement while on the bike.
